HOW FAR WILL RADIOS WORK?Radios can work up to 10 miles or more if they are being used from hilltop to hilltop but it all depends on line of sight, whether inside or outside a building and the power of the radio. Radios that are being used in heavily built up areas or through buildings will have a much reduced range. Our experienced sales professionals can trial radios at business customers sites ensure complete radio coverage.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN LICENCED AND LICENCE FREE RADIOS?Licenced radios are high power 4W UHF and 5W VHF whereas licence free radios are 0.5W UHF. Licenced radios will work further than licence free and there will be much less likelihood of receiving interference with licenced channels. NRC offer a complete service of applying for a customers Ofcom channels with same day service for most applications.

HOW LONG DO THE BATTERIES LAST?All of our equipment uses the latest in lithium battery technology and batteries can last up to 20 hours in many cases depending on useage.

CAN THE RADIOS BE HIRED?Yes our radio equipment can be hired for short term events and also for long terms of 12 months or more to include maintenance.

DO YOU PROVIDE SERVICE AND REPAIR?Yes our engineering department can maintain, repair and service all manufacturers equipment to ensure reliable long use.

Started in 1967 they provide holidays for disadvantaged Liverpool children at Colomendy Camp, Loggerheads North Wales. The children enjoy walks in the countryside, boat trips, cinema, days out to the beach and many games and activities. All staff are volunteers and funding is an important aspect to help keep the future of this wonderful charity.
